Make-up Tips

Skin Care

  • Drink lots of water! Not only is it refreshing, but it will also flush out your skin.
  • Get a facial at least one month prior to your wedding. If you decide to have another facial done before your wedding, be sure to do it at least two weeks before the big day.
  • If you happen to get a pimple on the day of your wedding, do NOT pop it. Use Visene, it does suppose to get the red out. Just dot the pimple with Visene and cover with concealer. Then use foundation and loose powder.

Eyebrows

  • Have your eyebrows plucked and shaped at least a week before your wedding. Don't pluck them the day of your wedding or you may end up with red bumps.

Eyelashes

  • Since wedding can be an emotional time, don't forget the waterproof mascara.

Lips

  • When choosing a lipstick, be sure to select one that lasts. Have a friend check for lipstick on you teeth now and then.

Make-up

  • Go to a cosmetic counter about a month or so before your wedding and have the consultant try different colors to see what looks best on you.

Powder

  • Use facial powder to prevent any shine on your face. But be careful not to use too much.
